How to find us

Cramlington is a medium sized town in the Blyth Valley district of Northumberland. Being situated next to the A1, A19 and A189. It has good road links to the city of Newcastle, Tyne & Wear and northern, western and coastal parts of Northumberland.

Cramlington Table Tennis Club uses facilities at the Sporting Club Cramlington which is to be found in the grounds of Cramlington Learning Village (formerly known as Cramlington Community High School).

The Sporting Club of Cramlington, Cramlington Learning Village

On Monday, Thursday and Friday evenings (excluding Bank Holidays) the club uses the small sports hall at the Sporting Club of Cramlington, Cramlington Learning Village between 7.00 to 10.00pm. Friday evenings are club nights with priority being given to younger players. Up to 18 tables are used on club nights.

During the main winter season (September to March) we have 16 league teams using the school as their home venue on Monday, Thursday and Friday evenings from September to March. On Monday and Thursday eveningsthe small sports hall is divided into two. On the right hand side three tables are used for league games. On the left hand side up to five tables are put up for practice by league players and developing youngsters.

Between April and August we retain use of the Hall on Monday and Thursday evening for practice and development of new players as well as our Friday evening club nights for all ages. For people who have been considering trying the sport or re-starting after a period away from the game this is a good time to come down to one of the Monday or Thursday sessions.

Between May and July there is a Summer League and some league games are played on Mondays and Thursday, but there are plenty of practice tables available and of course Friday nights are still open to all. In short we are open all the year round on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays except when they fall on bank holidays or other rare occasions when the Sporting Club premises are closed.
