Andrew Dryden of North Shields is the new Northumberland Junior champion. He won the title and the Norman Moore Memorial Cup when he defeated Adam McCormack of Cramlington TTC in the final of the County Junior Tournament, held at Cramlington on Friday 11 March 2005 . After winning his group he accounted for Sinceing Ngai and his other main rival Kevin Watson to reach the final. McCormack had beaten Yifan Pu and Jamie Dent.
The Cadet title was won by Jamie Dent of Oxhill who beat Ben Dawson of Cramlington in the final whilst Yifan Pu of Cramlington beat Graeme Barnes of Cramlington to win the under 13s.
Sinceing Ngai won the girls event.
