Under 20's Memorial Tournament Friday 14 August 2009

Steve Dickinson has played at Byker TTC since an early age. Three years ago one of Steve's nephews died at the age of 20. Steve asked CTTC if he could hold a small tournament at the Sporting Club on the third anniversary of the death of his nephew.

There were 15 entrants in the tournament making up 5 groups of 3.

The top 2 players from each group went through to the knock out stage with the third placed player participating in the consolation “Plate” event.

The overall tournament was won by Ryan Richardson who beat Ellis Cooper in the final.

The Plate event was won by Lynsey Storey with Ryan Guttridge taking the runner up place.

Trophies were presented to the winners and runners up by Steve Dickinson.
