It’s easy to join us! You can just turn up at one of our practice sessions or you can contact us using our contact form if you want further information before coming along.

You don’t have to play league table tennis to join CTTC-come along on a social basis and enjoy yourself. Many of our members that started on this basis have actually asked later to play in the league! You don’t have to spend a fortune to join CTTC-many of our members pay an annual subscription which offers very good value and includes league fees and other match expenses for those playing in the league. Annual subscriptions for non league play members is even cheaper. The subscription year runs from September to August.

You don’t have to live in Cramlington to play Table Tennis at CTTC. We have people attending from Newcastle, Gosforth, Gateshead, Wallsend, Wallsend, Whitley Bay, North Shields, Blyth, Bedlington, Ashington, Morpeth, Washington, Seaton Delaval, Seghill, Annitsford, Ponteland, Wideopen and other places in Northumberland and Tyne and Wear. Some folks have come from as far away as Belgium (though they do live locally now).

For those wishing to come only occasionally there is a weekly sessional rate. Currently this is £5.00 for Adults and £4.00 for Juniors. Although this is good value the annual subscription rate is a better deal for regular attenders.

You do have to enjoy table tennis to join CTTC, otherwise you will be out of place because we at CTTC play to enjoy the sport as we take an active step towards a healthy recreation.

Cramlington Table Tennis Club meets at The Sporting Club of Cramlington, Cramlington Community High School on Monday, Thursday and Friday evenings. Adults may also come along and try it on Monday or Thursday evenings.

The membership period covers the period from 1 September through to 31 August the following year. League Player membership covers affiliation fees to league, cost of match balls, hire of premises for home games, attendance at the Friday Club Night session at the Sports Centre, Cramlington Community High School plus practice session on Monday and Thursday evenings at the Sports Centre.

Non League Player membership covers attendance at the Friday Club Night session at the Sports Centre. The visitor/guest rate is for the less frequent visitor on Club Nights or the new player who would like to try before joining. The summer league fees are not included in the membership subscription.  Those playing in the Summer League may be subject to extra fees.

Throughout the season there may be additional practice sessions arranged at the Sports Centre. These will be charged out at the visitor rate.

  1. Are you open this Thursday (2nd June) for adults to come along to try out the club or are you closed for the whole bank holiday week? If you are open would that be from 7pm & when would the session close? Are there any rules about, say, type of footwear required?

  2. Morning
My son (who is 23 years old) and I enjoy playing table tennis recreationally, we would like to improve and play more-
1/ do you cater for this?
2/ if you do when would be the best time to come along?

Any further information would be appreciated. At this time we do not have our own equipment.

    Many thanks

    Geoff cross
