After a reasonably quiet summer the late August and early September traditionally sees an increase in attendance at Cramlington Table Tennis Club. This happens for two main reasons:
Firstly the Northumbria Table Tennis league commences in the second week of September and existing league players start coming more regularly to prepare themselves for competitive play.
Secondly many children (and their parents) have experienced the sport for the first time whilst on their summer holidays and are anxious to find somewhere where they can practice and receive proper coaching.
CTTC welcomes new players to the Club. It may be that you are new to the area and are looking for somewhere to play. You might have played a few years ago and would like to return to the sport.
Whatever your reason If you want to play league table tennis during the season beginning September 2018 now is the time to get along to the Club on Monday, Thursday or Friday evenings. The Club has teams competing through all levels in the league, from Premier to Fourth division.
This year, due to some departing members in the higher divisions, we are particularly keen to recruit players of a similar standard to replace them
Our Friday evening Club nights are very special. Players at all levels attend with up to 22 tables being available. The evening is especially popular with younger players and we encourage beginners to come along then. The club opens from 7.00pm on each of its evenings.
